Field Sales Merchandiser
📍 Remote – Travel across the island of Ireland required
💼 Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours per week)
💰 €32,000 – €38,000 per annum
Relay Global is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Field Sales Merchandiser to help drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships across the island of Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, building trusted client relationships, creating impactful in-store displays, and identifying new commercial opportunities.
About the Role
As a Field Sales Merchandiser, you will work closely with customers to maximise product visibility, support promotional activity, generate orders, and deliver outstanding merchandising standards. You will also act as the “eyes and ears” of the business by sharing customer insights, market trends, and competitor activity with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Create and maintain engaging in-store product displays
- Implement merchandising plans and planograms
- Monitor customer stock levels and support order generation
- Identify opportunities for upselling and new product placement
- Support trade mornings and promotional campaigns
- Provide product training and support to customers
- Analyse sales trends and customer performance
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations teams
- Travel regularly across the island of Ireland, including occasional overnight stays
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail environment
- Previous merchandising experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Full driving licence essential
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with sales systems advantageous
